the PS2 was known as the best selling home console of all time. succeeded by the original playstation, it was also the first console with backward compatibility, dvd playback and the so called "net play".
PS2-tan is described as an active and playful young girl. her short purple hair with antennas on each side is held with clover hairclips, reminiscent of the d-pad. she also has blue tare-me eyes and a PS2 controller cable tail sticking out of her back.
to represent the original PS2 model, her most frequent design is an old-style school swimsuit with a "PS2" nametag on the chest and a PlayStation logo on the left hip, with matching uwabaki shoes. she often carries a red randoseru as well.
